Oops, they did it again! Oh yes, and in some style. The Lost Trades, swooped into The Woodman Folk Club and did what they do best. Immediately, they engulfed the audience in whirl of superb close-harmony vocals, uber quality song-writing, faultless arrangement, and perfect stage-presence and delivered it in an endearing, easy manner that instantly won-over the crowd. They did all this whilst welcoming a brand-new band member to the band. The wonderful Jess Vincent added the third sonic dimension to the mix and wow, what a marvellous job she did too.

The show was a master-class of how a band should make it’s presence known and it’s intentions clear. They were there to entertain and have fun and entertain and have fun is what they did. It’s what we all did! Thank you, Lost Trades, you did another brilliant night!

Speaking of brilliance, Mr Bryn Phillips produced an absolute cracker of a set. Bryn opened the evening for us in some style. It never ceases to amaze, how Bryn writes some of the most emotionally challenging songs and punctuates them with hilarious situations that are familiar to all of us. Brilliant!

MC Chris made the evening his own, using all of his wit, charm and a little bit of Devilment! We would expect nothing less!!

Thanks to John B on the AV and to Mr Bob K on the photos, and of course to my bunch of merry men of much helpfulness.

All our thanks and love go out to the Ashwood Marina staff and customers, who’s hard work and unwavering support is much appreciated.

You are all stars.

Enjoy Yourself!
