(Review taken from Derry's Facebook Post) What a performance and what a performer! Steve Tilston is a true master of his craft and he was just on absolute top form. He played to a packed house and delivered an amazing night. Since Steve last played the Woodman folk club back in 2022, our audience has evolved to include some slightly younger members, and it was a unique pleasure to observe them all, sitting with their mouths’ wide open, staring in absolute awe, mesmerised by the man standing on the stage before them. Steve’s astonishing guitar expertise was skilfully interwoven with enthralling lyrics and captivating storyline’s. Each song was delivered with flawless precision and overarching passion. Unforgettable! To start this outstanding evening of entertainment, Lintel, “John & Carol Hoare”, were joined on-stage for a couple of numbers by our very-own Deb Jones on vocals and yours truly on Bass. As always Lintel delivered an amazing, well thought out opening set that comprised of some beautiful songs and skilful musicianship. MC Bryn did yet another great job of guiding the evening safely to its conclusion. Many thanks to Mr Gary for photos and Mr John B for all things AV. Thanks to the Techy-up and Techy-down teams and of course, as always, a massive thanks to the staff and customers of The Ashwood Marina, for their on-going help and support. We love you all.
