Richard Digance Stood on the Woodman FC stage for the very first time, and just blew us all away. From the first number to the last, Richard made himself right at home and immediately invited a delighted full-house to join him on an enthralling adventure into musical mirth, historical pride and well-considered contemporary commentary. Masterful guitar work and captivating songwriting, coupled with a commanding, yet jovial stage presence soon had us all singing every chorus at the top of our voices, and loving every second of it. Laughter rang out and danced across the still waters of Ashwood Marina all night long. There is no doubting that Richard Digance is an integral part of the entertainment industry, famous the world over, and, dare I say it, a national treasure, and on this night, he brought pure Gold to our precious little corner of Kingswinford. Richard Digance definitely earned the acronym, G.O.A.T. Fantastic!

Supporting Richard Digance and opening the evening, the Woodman FC was treated to the unique talents of Nothing to Prove, (NTP3). Mark (Busby) Burrows and Deb & Derry Jones, proudly strutted their stuff to a massively appreciative, if not slightly bemused, audience. Wielding an eclectic mix of original songs, treasured covers and comical renditions, NTP3 gloriously started us all off with a great big smile. Nice!

MC Bryn, took immediate control, guiding the program using his brand-new roving mic. Impressive! A special thanks to Mr Dick Woodhouse and Busby for loading, lugging, loading again and unloading at t ’other end. Mr Dick Woodhouse also did an excellent job on providing the sound mix for NTP3. Mr Gary for photography and of course, the Techy-up and Techy-down team. Last but not least, massive thanks go to the very hard-working staff and regulars at The Ashwood Marina. We love you all.
