The marvellous Gerry Colvin and his super-talented playmates, Trish Feelan – Accordion, and Lyndon Webb – Acoustic Lead Guitar/Mandolin, produced one of the best gigs at the Woodman FC, this year. What a triumphant performance! It was an absolute joy.

Gerry’s unique stage presence, energetically enhanced the mood of each perfectly crafted song. Every composition tackled a variety of subjects, all originating from, or inspired by life’s unpredictable twists and turns. Gerry’s songwriting is powerful, drawing the audience along a wonderful journey of curious excitement, reflective contemplation, and glorious hilarity. It is simply amazing! To be that good you need to surround yourself with musicians you can trust and rely upon, people who know your story and who’s musical empathy, interpretation, and skill is beyond doubt. Lyndon and Trish are most definitely those people. Superb supporting vocal lines, excellent background melodies and riffs, and subtle lead-parts, add structure to each song, adding in layers of musical magic and delight.
Perfect!

Talking about people you can trust; Due to unforeseen circumstances, our support programme was subject to a sudden change and the wonderful Mr Rob Hill proudly stepped forward and centre. Rob loves every opportunity to play his two lovely Powell guitars, and who can blame him. We were treated to a superb mixture of songs, including originals and much-loved covers, every-one played and sung in Rob’s own unique, skilful and witty style. Nice one Rob.

Enjoy Yourself!
