(Review taken from Derry's Facebook Post) A massive thank you to our much-revered guests, Cathryn Craig & Brian Willoughby for a delightful evening and an enthralling performance. Cathryn and Brian created yet another outstanding show comprising of superb songs, delightful vocals and ripping guitar riffs, all accentuated nicely with several good old-fashioned sing-songs from the audience. Brilliant! It is always an absolute pleasure to host such a talented and professional act and so rare to find artists who are just as bonkers as we all are down at the Woodman Folk Club! Cathryn & Brian, we love you!! It’s not an easy task to open for such a highly respected duo, so who would complement such a fine act? Well, our much-revered Woodmanite Rob Hill, that’s who. Rob provided us with a brilliantly varied and hugely entertaining set. I predicted rebellious Goats but, Rob served up that, but with so much more. Simply splendid! MC Bryn was an excellent host and delivered his own left-field style of event management, with his usual gusto. Nice one! Thanks to all of the Techy-up and Techy-down peeps. What a team! Mr John Bailey did an excellent job capturing the evening on digital magic lantern and sound. Sweet! Massive thanks, as usual, to The Ashwood Marina staff, for looking after us all, and showing us all at the Woodman such love and devotion. And last but definitely not least the fantastic Mr Chris Irving who rose up at the last minuet and provided the Woodman with superb sound at such short notice. Chris was ably assisted by the ever-present, fountain of knowledge and pure muscle; Mr Dick Woodhouse. When you need heroes, look no further than your own dear friends XX Enjoy Yourself!
