Hi Folks,

At the beginning of July on the 5th weíve got The John Richards' Band. John Richards is a true master of the folk and acoustic music scene, a passionate champion for all music lovers. Much admired by audiences and so well respected by all the top acts that he has had more than a few famous names cover his amazing songs.

Now included in this fantastic line up is the Woodman's very own Robin Tudor on keyboards and violin. John's musical composition and lyrical prowess take you on a roller coaster of emotions. This is going to be a fantastic night that you won't forget. Book or get there early to be part of this awesome experience.

The next Friday 12th July the club is closed because we all trek off to the Bromsgrove Folk Festival. Yes itís that time of year again when the famous, the infamous, the good, the bad and the Woodman folk club, congregate at The Bowling Green, Shaw Lane, Stoke Prior, near Bromsgrove. Come and join us there and enjoy the festival, the singing and the camaraderie!

Finally before we break for the hot and sunny British summer itís Tosh on the 19th. Originally a local Black Country boy, Tosh has been writing songs, (and getting into trouble for it!), since the tender age of 8. An accomplished vocalist, musician, front man and entertainer, he involves his audience from the first note. He's got a thoroughly cheeky and endearing sense of humour that will leave you wanting more! more! more!

And then we are closed for summer until Friday 13th September.
Look forward to a great autumn season with Steve Tilston, Red Dirt Skinners and Clive Gregson.

Take care, have a good summer break,

Pete
