Hi Folks,

Welcome to 2013 at the Woodman. I hope you all had a peaceful and relaxing Christmas.

To get you singing and gently bedded in for the New Year we’ve got a Singers' Night on the 4th. Time to stretch your vocal cords.

The following week (11th) we’ve got a real treat with Babajack. They’ve had an exceptional 2012 and were winners in the BRITISH BLUES AWARDS 2012. Now established as a favourite at the club, we look forward to Bec’s beautiful singing and their driving rhythms – don’t miss them!

But there’s more on the 18th it’s Stool Pigeon with an evening of riotously funny original songs, monologues and anecdotes. Be prepared
to laugh so much it hurts!! When it comes to Music Hall type parody Bob Gessey and John Charnock are tops.

Finally for January on the 25th it’s Billy & Lozz. Billy does the words and Lozz the music. Champions of Black Country culture, humour,
stories and songs, these guys are well-loved favourites of the club.
Be prepared to have all your emotions tweaked!

On a different subject, congratulations to Julia Disney and Gren Bartley on their new production whose name is Beatrice Avril.

That just leaves me to give you your tempter for next month. At the beginning of February we’ve got the Bushbury Mountain Daredevils.

Keep singing,

Pete
