Hi Folks,

This month on the 3rd we start the ball rolling with Harriet Bartlett and Charlie Barker. You will know Harriet from her superb accordion work, but now combined with Charlie Barker we get beautifully entwined vocal harmonies with a diverse combination of Celtic, Anglo-American material. Charlie Barker and Harriet Bartlett have been working individually on the European folk/acoustic scene for 10 years, gaining a reputation as two of Britain's brightest, young female talents

On the 10th it’s Ruth Fuga and Ken Powell. Ruth and Ken bring us wonderful music. Ruth's clear, warm and sensitive voice is accompanied by Ken on guitar. Maybe we’ll hear Harbour in the Storm, Gone To Ground and Something In Red.

The following week on the 17th we’ve got Singers’ Night, a wonderful opportunity to perform or just listen to some outstanding music.

And finally, Kevin Dempsey and Joe Broughton are here on the 24th. They have been playing together since 2000. They were successful with their first two albums "Every Other World" and "Freehand" Kevin and Joe have toured together extensively in Italy, Holland, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria and USA as well as in the UK.

Kevin is a guitarist, singer and producer second to none. Joe is a classically trained violin player now his style owes much more to Folk, Jazz and Blues.

This promises to be a ‘must be there’ night.

Next month look out for Driftwood and Flossie Malavialle
