Hi Folks,

Itís time to start thinking about getting those Christmas decorations organised!

But first make plans to visit your own favourite Folk Club.
On 2 December weíve got Hickman and Quinn. James Hickman and Chris Quinn, founder members of the Badgers, playing as an acoustic guitar and vocals duo, have merged the traditional styles of Gypsy Jazz, Blues, Bluegrass, Celtic, Western Swing and Folk, to create their own unique and recognisable sound.

Then on the 9 December come and enjoy a Singersí Night in preparation for the culmination of the yearís entertainment with the Christmas pantomime on the 16th. This promises to be a sell-out. Not only do you get top quality actors but food as well.

Also donít forget the Sean Cannon Charity night on Thursday, 8th December at Old Oscott Working Menís Club, 1196 Aldridge Road, Great Barr, Birmingham B44 8PE. Speak to Christine at the club.

Also for those of you planning to see Tim Judson for the live recording at Bewdley Baptist Church, 61 High Street Bewdley DY12 2PJ on Saturday 3rd December at 7.30 p.m. please note that there is no parking at the church so you will need to park at one of the nearby town car parks. The church provides a comfortable modern venue thatís used a lot by the Bewdley Festival and whatís more admission is free.

So, that just leaves me to wish you a very happy Christmas Ė see you in the New Year on 6 January 2012.

Keep singing, keep smiling,

Pete
